Fuchs Petrolube SE reported 236 million (U.S. $265 million) in profit after tax for 2015, up 7 percent from 220 million in 2014.

Sales revenue for the Mannheim, Germany-based independent lubricants blender during 2015 reached 2.1 billion, up 11 percent compared to 1.9 billion in 2014. Fuchs noted that all three of its global regions saw growth in revenue – up 10 percent to 1.2 billion in Europe, 13 percent to 583 million in Asia-Pacific and Africa, and 12 percent to 353 million for North and South America. Consolidation costs detracted 84 million from total revenue in 2015.

The company said the rise in profits was driven by Fuchs acquisition of German lubricants manufacturer Pentosin and Stockholm-based Statoil Fuel & Retail Lubricants last year.

With Deutsche Pentosin-Werke GMBH, Fuchs acquired the market leader in the technologically sophisticated segment of dual clutch transmission fluids, Fuchs annual report stated. Through another acquisition, Statoil Fuel & Retail Lubricants AB, Fuchs has also significantly strengthened its presence in Northern and Eastern Europe.
