Rotterdam Plant Starts Commercial Production

ExxonMobil announced Thursday that its new base stock plant in Rotterdam has begun commercial production, marking the opening of Europes first large-scale API Group II source.

Gazpromneft-Lubricants Sales Grew in 2018

Gazpromneft-Lubricants reported that its combined production of base oils and finished lubricants increased 21 percent in 2018 to 703,000 metric tons as domestic sales and exports both rose.

Lukoil Marine Lubricants Middle East, a subsidary of Moscow-based Lukoil, signed a three-year contract with Oman Shipping Co. to supply the state-owned shipping firm with lubricants for its fleet of 39 vessels. Adnoc awarded a pre-front end engineering and designing contract to Wood Group for its integrated refining and petrochemicals complex to be built in Ruwais, United Arab Emirates.
