GP Broadens Lube Brand Footprint

India-based GP Petroleums Ltd. on Wednesday announced an agreement with lubricant producer Mag Lube to manufacture and market GP’s Ipol lubricants in the Middle East and Africa. The agreement marks the next step in GP Global’s plan to take its Ipol brand global and expand production capacity. read more

Petronas Lubricants International will begin operation of a new blending plant in Maharashtra, India in October. The company invested $55 million in the new facility.  Sea-Land Chemical Co. will distribute Ulsan, South Korea-based Songwon Industrial Co.’s aminic, phenolic, phosphite and thioester antioxidants – used in the industrial lubricants, transportation lubricants and grease market segments – to customers in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
