A partnership between Max Energy Co. and Shell Brands International AG will bring a network of Max Energy Myanmar-operated, Shell-branded fuels and lubes retail sites to Myanmar. U.S. biotech company Verdezyne Inc. last week broke ground on a factory in Iskandar, Malaysia, that will produce renewable dodeconedoic acids that can be used in lubricant formulations by early 2019. Korea Shell Oil Co. will supply engine oils to Kumho Tires in an agreement that also includes cross-marketing each others products. Chevron Lubricants has restructured its Asia Pacific operations into a Greater China division and a unit focused on Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia and the Indian subcontinent.
