Gazprom Enters Indonesia, Taiwan

Russia’s Gazprom Neft Lubricants expanded its presence in Southeast Asia by signing a memorandum of cooperation and a supply deal with key Taiwanese and Indonesian companies.

In Indonesia, Gazprom agreed to supply PT Tehnika Ina with its G-Energy and Gazprom Neft-branded finished lubricants. Jakarta-based Tehnika Ina is Indonesias official dealer of Russian heavy-duty vehicle maker Kamaz, as well as Honda cars. It also distributes Michelin tires.

In Taiwan, Gazprom sealed a deal for supply of its flagship motor oil G-Energy to the Taiwanese local dealer Excellent Professional Group Ltd.

Under the deal, the lube maker already delivered a 15-ton product shipment 5W-30 and 5W-40 oils for use in car service centers, according to Gazprom. We actively expand the geography of our presence and offer our partners competitive and quality production in reasonable prices, said Alexander Trukhan, general director of Gazprom Neft Lubricants. Our main goal is to become one of the appreciable players on the [Asian] and international lubricant markets.
