Nicca Adds Fluorine Plant in South Korea

Nicca Chemical plans to re-enter the lubricant market with the completion of its new fluorine plant in South Korea, increasing its production capacity by 30 percent, the company told Lube Report.

Perstorp Builds Penta Plant in India

Perstorp began construction of a world-scale pentaerythritol production plant in Gujarat, India, in October, to improve its ability to meet demand for the chemical - used in synthetic lubricants, antioxidants and coatings - especially in Asian markets.

Results Down for Hi-Tech, Up for Savita, Apar

Pakistans Hi-Tech Lubricants reported a steeper net loss, while Indias Savita Oil and Apar Industries each reported higher net profit for the quarter ending Sept. 30, compared to results in the same period last year.

Tianhe Trading Remains Suspended

Tianhe Chemicals Groups trading privileges on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will remain suspended until further notice, the company announced Wednesday, as it awaits a decision on a potential delisting.
