Profits Up for Gulf, Apar; Down for Savita

Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd. and Apar Industries each reported healthy increases in profit for their fourth quarter, due to a jump in sales. Meanwhile, Savita Oil Technologies Ltd. reported a decline in net profit but an increase in total revenues.

Pertamina Aids Lube Distributors with Financing

Pertamina Lubricants and Bank Rakyat Indonesia signed a cooperation agreement recently intended to provide financing to Pertamina distributors so that they can increase sales and operate more efficiently.

Transformer oil refiner Hydrodec expects to conclude the sale of its Australian business before its annual general meeting on June 20, according to its filing for 2018 results. In September 2018, the company said it would sell its transformer oil rerefining plant in Wagga, New South Wales, or relocate it to another facility in the United States. SK Lubricants Co.signed a deal to supply base oil to state-owned PetroChina.
