Petronas to Begin Production at Indian Plant

Malaysias Petronas Lubricants International will begin production at its lubricant blending plant in India by the end of this year, the company told Lube Report.

China's Naphthenic Supply Grows

China is projected to be the second-largest producer of naphthenic oils this year with 35 percent of global naphthenic oil production, and market growth is expected to continue, an industry insider said last week at the first ICIS Asian Industrial Lubricants Conference in Singapore.

Net Profit Down for Gulf Oil India

Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd. reported a decline in net profit for its second quarter ending Sept. 30, compared to the same period a year earlier.
