Master Fluid Acquires Wilhelm Dietz
October 16, 2019Perrysburg, Ohio-based Master Fluid Solutions announced on Oct. 7 the acquisition of German metalworking fluids manufacturer Wilhelm Dietz GmbH, saying it will enable products that it sells in Europe to be made in-house instead of through toll partners. Terms were not disclosed.

October 16, 2019Sea-Land Chemical began distributing Biosynthetic Technologies‘ biobased base oils in North America effective Aug. 15, with exclusive distribution into the transportation and industrial lubricants market. A new partnership of the automotive aftermarket division of Robert Bosch GmbH and Castrol will run jointly branded workshop pilots in the Orlando and Tampa area of Florida in the United States. The test in the market will include up to 25 joint workshops, each offering Castrol lubricants and Bosch parts and services. Evonik Oil Additives USA Inc. appointed Richard Van Sleet regional president in the Americas. He will retain his current responsibilities as global head of marketing for lubricant additives.
