Malaysian blender Hyrax Oil broke ground last week on its U.S. $13 million plant in Sri Lanka, which it will own and operate jointly with state-owned Ceylon Petroleum Corp.The group hopes the plant will raise its domestic market share from 11 percent to 30 percent. Petronas Lubricants International will sell is Syntium brand of synthetic motor oils to end users for the first time through a deal with car parts retailer Halfords Group plc in the United Kingdom market.
